Member Submission: Highlands Ranch Water District Election

Friends,

You know me and I need your help; this will be a “first step” for me.  I am running for one seat ( of two ) on the Highlands Ranch Water District’s Board of Managers. The election is this May 6th.

If you are not living in Highlands Ranch, perhaps you have friends, and family, in the Highlands Ranch area that you can forward this email to.

Many of you have elected positions, if you have any ideas or suggestions, that can help me, please let me know.

I want to help keep DougCo, the county I initially moved into 27 years ago, the same great place it was then.

There are attempts to change and “take over” DougCo.  It has all ready started within Highlands Ranch.

My first "step" is to help maintain Highlands Ranch's community values and reverse this negative influence.

I am running for one of two vacant seats on the HR Water District Board of Directors.

We do not need to elect people who might want to increase our cost of living and radically change our life style; nor, do we want to give them a “foot hold” in our community.

The HRWD is efficiently run, with low water prices, high standards of water quality, and a very "forward looking plan" for the generations.

I want to be a part of this organization and help maintain its current direction and vision.

The Water District ( HRWD ) is roughly defined as  :  Quebec to Santa Fee and 470 to Wildcat Pkway.

Please forward this to your valued friends and family in Highlands Ranch that might be with in this District.

I need all the help I can get.

I have NO BIG Money supporting me,

just the Grass Roots, and their good will.

No RWR $$$ is supporting me.

If I am in their District - they will see my name on their HRWD ballot ( 1st Choice on the list ).

If you have any questions, let me know.

I also have a trusted friend who is running for the larger HR Metro District ( HRMD ).

We both can use your help.  I work with Rita, on beneficial DougCo community projects;  she is founded on a principled, moral, and solid work ethic.

Highlands Ranch needs Rita too!
